How To Send Bulk SMS By Email

There is often a requirement for our clients to send SMS to multiple numbers. Also, some of our clients have a need to send SMS to their customers only via emails as Internet is blocked. To cater to these requirements, SMSCountry provides you an option to send bulk text messages by email.
Sending an SMS via email is simple.Suppose that your SMSCountry userid is demoSmsc and your recipient’s mobile number +91-9876543210, then the email id you will be sending your SMS to will be 919876543210.demoSmsc@smscountry.com.
Here are a few reminders:
- You will need to send the email from your authenticated email id (the email address provided in your account details).
- The SMS message to be sent shall be of 160 characters only and is written in the body of the email. The subject line and body of the message beyond 160 characters is irrelevant.
- If you have a huge list of numbers to send SMS to, store them as a group in your mail account and send the SMS to the group.
Outlook Plugin
Smscountry offers an Outlook plugin that enables clients with access to Microsoft Outlook to install the SMSCountry plugin in their mail platform and send SMS directly from this tab. Click here to know more about this plugin
Automate Sending SMS from Application
If you have your own web application, SMSCountry offers APIs that shall help you to automatically send bulk SMS. Click here to know more about the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) API. The practice of mailing customers for registration, confirmation and authentication is no more!
